Rare Original Chinese Herbal Apothecary’s 25 Drawer Chest.This is a Chinese Apothecary Cabinet it was once used by a Herbal Physician to keep the herbs and remedies used in Chinese Medicine
The front of each drawer has very detailed medicine labels, ( in Chinese) it has 25 long drawers each divided into 4 sections which are labelled on the front to indicate the various remedies that would have been held inside each section.
The cabinet is very sound, the lacquer is in its original aged finish, clearly identifying the intended contents of each drawer
The cabinet is 20” high, 20” wide and 14” deep
