These 2 very attractive decorated panels in the Shibayama style, probably created for the export market around the 1920s,
They are lacquered in gold and black and set with applied carved Mother of Pearl depicting scenes in a Japanese Garden

The panels are in good condition they are 38” tall and 12” wide
