A Large French Refectory Table, Table Monastère

This is a great piece in both looks and Quality, it is a Very Heavy Solid Country Table, a refectory table from Brittany, the top is made from 2” thick planks. The table is a hand made piece with iron rods running through inside the planks to give maximum strength to the top The table is a typically French style known over there as a Monastery table, the table legs and feet are 5.5” thick and it has a 5” wide carved stretcher

The table has a good smooth finish with little sign of wear, it is sound and does not wobble, it will dismantle it for ease of access, a superb country piece and will stand up to no end of use
The table is 83” long, 31” wide, 30” high.
