Early Gothic Carved Oak Table

This is an early piece, a very attractive Country Oak Table, the table base has large bulbous legs and an H stretcher, it has a 3 plank top with cleated ends, this can be taken off for transportation and is held in place with chunky hand made wooden pegs
Some of the table base dates back to the 17th Century, however it has undergone restoration the stretchers and sides have been reinforced to make it a good strong usable piece, the bun feet are a 20th Century addition and they bring it up to good height.
The restoration dates back to the 19th Century, the table has a very lovely patina, all restored and ready for use
This is a good sturdy table, large chunky legs and a wonderful patina, the top can be lifted off so an easy one to access where others won’t

The table is 57” long, 30” wide, 30” high
