Original Mikmaid Milk Advertising Clock, by the A.S.C.M CoThis an 8day Spring driven clock from the 1890s advertising Milkmaid Milk
The 12” dial has roman numerals, and a brass surround, there is an outer metal surround with the words “MILKMAID MILK - NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY IT”, the letters are raised and this has been overpainted in gold, the face is a little chipped, this part has not been restored
The movement is clean and it keeps good time, the clock is 17.5” in dimeter
