Description

A Large French Elm Refectory Extending Table

This is a fantastic piece of 19th Century Elm furniture, the top is made from 4, 3” thick planks, the table has a very good natural patina

The table is a typically French style known over there as a Monastery table, the table legs are made from 4” thick Elm, a useful extra to this piece, it has 2 leaves which can be easily added to extend the table, each leaf fits on to 2 runners which pull out from under the table top, one thing to point out that the leaves are not made from solid elm, they have an elm surround and a plywood panel to the centre

The table is sound and does not wobble, with a piece of this strength and quality it will stand up to no end of use
This is a large table and will seat 12/14 diners, it is 79” long, 33” wide, 30” high and it is 115” long with the leaves in place.
