A Very Long French Farmhouse Elm Table, 20 Seater Extending Harvest Table


This unusual rustic table comes from the South West of France, harvest tables are used in and outdoors to celebrate the gathered Wine Harvest so it needs to be big enough to seat all the farm hands, this one will seat 20 banqueters
This large table can be extended to nearly double its length by pulling a leaf out from one end, there is a sturdy trestle to rest it on making it very stable.
The table is made in 1.5” thick Elm, the top is planked with a small moulding around the edge, the leaf which is also planked can be pulled out from one end and there is a drawer at the other.
The Table stands on sturdy square legs, these have been reinforced at the bottom in oak, this is a very sturdy table it has no loose joints or wobbles

This charming farmhouse table, has a naturally distressed patina all the wood worm is historic, dead and treated to make sure, a real rustic country piece with charm and an interesting background

The table in normal daily use is 40” wide, 32” high, 25” under knee height, and it is 88” long,when the leaf is pulled out the table will extend up to 162” long, but it can be use at shorter length if required
