19th Century French Empire Style Bed or Single Bed.

The bed is made in beautiful cherry wood it has a high headboard and slightly lower footboard. Both ends have decorative turnings with a central crest which has applied mouldings to the flat surface
This is a very attractive bed with a bright natural patina, it comes with thick bed slats and can be finished off with a mattress or an divan base with a mattress, will take a deep mattress as it is a very high bed
The bed is in good sound condition there are a few mouldings absent but this is just usual signs of wear and use
The bed head is 53” high and 42” wide and the overall length of the bed is 83”. The bed takes a 3ft wide single mattress
