Georgian Oak Bobbin Turned Gate Leg Table
A period Oak gate leg
The table has a solid oak top with beautiful crisply bobbin turned legs and etched cross members it dates from around 1780 to 1800.
A beautiful piece of Georgian oak is a delight to look at and anyone who loves this type of wood will find this one no exception.
The table is in good condition for its age you can even see the wooden pegs in the top where it has been attached to the base there have been no repairs or alterations carried out to it, it does not have any sign of woodworm or other problems, there is a very small shrinkage crack near the bottom of one leg and very minor surface scratching to the top.
The table stands 29” high, 35’’ long and 17’’ wide when closed and 35’’ long by 40’’ when fully extended.
