Hardback in the original pictorial cloth binding, half title, publishers adverts to front & rear, complete with frontis plate plus 10 further full page black & white illustrations by wain.
The book measures approx 8 x 5 inches with 303 pages.
Few minor bubbles to cloth spine & cloth on front board, two small ink stamps of s. barnabas, kensington to inner front board, foxing to front & rear endpapers, surface abrasions to title page, occasional light foxing to pages, the occasional plate with some edge wear to margins. Overall a very good copy
