An original 17th century Copper Engraved Map with early hand colouring. Two sided frame with glass to rear & Latin text to reverse of map
Map area without margins & frame measures approx 21 x 17 inches.
Frame size is approx is 24 x 21 inches
Centre fold present as published. Some minor spots or blemishes, even age toning to paper, some light offsetting or bleed through from text on rear [see images]. Some knocks to frame.
Overall a very good example of an early Blaeu Map
