Beautiful and erotic Alabaster sculpture of a Nymph with a Herm in the form of a Satyr - attributed to Gambogi Giuseppe (1862 - 1938).Alabaster.
Very attractive and decorative Alabaster sculpture, set on a gold base.
Giuseppe Gambogi (1862-1938), was born in Pisa, but worked in Florence. He was a sculptor with a romantic and orientalist taste, and worked in various materials such as marble, alabaster and bronze.
Condition: No loses, but some historical restorations.
H: 47.5 x W: 14.5 x D: 19.5cm.
