Description

A pair of bronze regula vases with double patina, in art nouveau style, signed Louis Moreau (1855-1919) present a nude female figure on one and a male figure on the other in three dimensions. Each vase has highly detailed male and female forms with floral and organic motifs typical of the art nouveau period.

These vases have a bulbous body and narrow neck, adorned with flowing lines and naturalistic patterns that complement the figures atop marble bases.

These pieces are simply stunning in their representation of the art nouveau style and of course, the association with Louis Moreau.
