Description

The very well modelled and large life size cast stone wheaten terrier, in sitting position with the head tilted upward in obedience, having a closed mouth, the eyes clear of the notorious shaggy hair, the whole of hyper-real form and surviving from the middle to later part of the twentieth century.

The hound is heavy and has weathering commensurate with being outside he remains very stable though there are two repairs one to one front paw and one to the tail. This is not a design we have ever come across on the market before.

The Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier is a pure breed terrier originating from Ireland. Wheatens typically have one of two coat types: Irish or Heavy. The Irish coat is generally silkier and wavier than the Heavy, or American coat, which is thicker and fuller.

A charming addition to any home that favours the shaggy dog look.
