A superb Antique, George III, Scottish Sterling Silver Serving/Tablespoon dating from c1800.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "MC" for Matthew Craw, the Scottish thistle sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the "castle" town mark for Edinburgh and date letter "U" for 1800/01.
It measures just over 8 3/4" inches (225mm) in length.
The weight is 48.9g/1.72oz/1.57ozt
In excellent condition.
