A Scottish Provincial Silver Table Spoon made in Greenock by Thos. Davie and dating from c1820.There are engraved initials on the handle.
The spoon is hallmarked with the maker's initials "TD" for Thos. Davie, the "anchor", "ship" and "green oak tree" for Greenock.
Thos. Davie is recorded as working in Greenock c1818 - 1830.
