A Scottish Provincial Silver Gravy, Stuffing or Basting Spoon made in Perth by Robert Keay and dating from c1840.There is an engraved initial "M" on the handle.
The spoon is hallmarked with the maker's initials "RK" for Robert Keay (struck three times) and the "double headed eagle" town mark for Perth (struck twice).
Robert Keay II is recorded as working in Perth c1839 - 1856.
