A Set of Six Antique, Victorian English Provincial Silver Dessert Forks, made by Thomas Wheatley, Newcastle and dating from c1856/57.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "TW" for Thomas Wheatley, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the three castles Newcastle town mark, the Leopard's Head and date letter "R" for 1856/57.
They have the initials "MR" engraved.
