Description

A good Set of Six Antique, early Victorian, English Sterling Silver Dessert Forks made by John James Whiting in London and dating from c1839/40. They have the initial "B" engraved.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JW" for John James Whiting, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head (Queen Victoria) duty mark, the London town mark and date letter "D" for 1839/40.
