A very good, rare, Antique, Georgian, English Silver Gravy/Straining Spoon made by William Sumner I, dating from c1787.
The spoon is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WS" for William Sumner I, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "m" for 1787/88.
It is free from engravings and is in very nice condition.
