A large George III, English Silver Basting or Gravy Spoon made in London and dating from c1800.

Hallmarked with the maker's mark "JL" for John Lias, the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the duty mark, the crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "E" for c1800/01.
It measures 12" inches (310mm) in length.
The weight is 91.4g/3.22oz/2.93ozt
