Description
A very good pair of Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Sugar Tongs made by James Orr of Greenock and dating from c1815.They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JO" for James Orr on one arm and side the Scottish thistle silver mark and the Monarch's Head duty mark on the other. (see photos)
