A Scottish Provincial Silver Ladle made in Banff by John Keith and dating from c1800.There is an engraved crest on the handle.
The ladle is hallmarked with the maker's initials "IK" for John Keith, and the letter "B" for Banff (struck twice).
John Keith is recorded as working in Banff c1794 to 1824.
