Description

A matched set of Six Victorian English Sterling Silver Table or Dinner Forks made by Chawner & Co (George William Adams) (1840-1882), London).
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "GA" for Chawner & Co (George William Adams), the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the Lion Passant sterling Silver mark and the Leopard's Head London town mark.
Three of the forks have the date letter "E" for 1880/81, two letter "k" for 1865/66 and one letter "n" 1848/49.
They have the engraved initial "R" on the terminals.
