A very good quality Early Victorian English Silver Gravy, Basting or Stuffing Spoon dating from c1842.
It has very crisp, full English Sterling Silver hallmarks consisiting of the maker's mark "WE" for William Eaton, the Monarch's Head (Queen Victoria) duty mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "G" for 1842/43.
There is a nice armorial crest (see photo).
