A very nice Antique George III, Scottish Silver Ladle made by Alexander Henderson in Edinburgh and dating from c1820.It is hallmaked with the maker's mark "AH" for Alexander Henderson, the Scottish Thistle Sterling Silver Mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark, the Edinburgh Castle town mark and the date letter "O" for 1820/21.
