Description
A George III, English Sterling Silver two handled Trophy Cup by Peter & Ann Bateman in London and dating from c1793/94.It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "PB/AB" for Peter & Ann Bateman, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the crowned Leopard's Head London town mark, date letter "S" for 1793/94 and the Monarch's Head duty mark.
A nice Georgian Silver Cup. It is free of engravings or personalisation therefore would make a very nice presentation trophy.
