A nice, Georgian Scottish Provincial Silver Punch Ladle by James Gordon of Aberdeen dating from c1780.James Gordon is recorded as working in Aberdeen c1766 - 1806.
The ladle has an oval silver bowl with twisted baleen stem and silver terminal.
It is stamped with the maker's mark only "IG" for James Gordon of Aberdeen.
