A rare pair of early Victorian English Silver Meat Skewers made in London by Charles Gordon and dating from 1837.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "G.C" for Charles Gordon, the Leopard's Head London town mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria) and the date letter "B" for 1837, the start of Queen Victoria's reign.
