A very nice antique, George III, Scottish Silver Teapot made in Edinburgh by J Mckay and dating from c1816.It is hallmarked to the base with the maker's mark "JMc." for J McKay, the Scottish Thistle silver mark, the Edinburgh "Castle" town mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and date letter "k" for 1816/17.
