Description

A very nice pair of Antique, Victorian, English Sterling Silver Serving spoons, complete with their original, velvet lined, fitted, presentation case. The spoons where made by Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson)in London and date from c1895.
They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "GMJ" for Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson), the Leopard's Head London town mark, the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria) and the date letter "U" for 1895/96.
The case bearing the retailer's name "R L Rennison, Silversmith, Sunderland".
