Cased Victorian English Silver Apostle Spoons

A very nice pair of Antique, Victorian, English Sterling Silver Apostle Serving spoons, complete with their original, velvet lined, fitted, presentation case. The spoons where made by James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler in London and date from c1888.They are hallmarked with the maker's mark "JW/FCW" for James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, the Leopard's Head London town mark, the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria) and the date letter "N" for 1888/89.
They measure just over 7 1/2" inches (195mm) in length.
The combined weight is 105.1g/3.70oz/3.37ozt
