Description

A lovely Antique Georgian English Silver Teapot made by Henry Chawner in London and dating from c1789.
It is hallmarked on the base with the maker's mark "HC" for Henry Chawner, the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark and the date letter "O" for 1789/90.
It has an applied star shaped cartouche to the front with a reeded edge to top and bottom.
