Britannia Standard Silver Jubilee Christening Mug

Description
A very nice, Britannia Standard Silver Jubilee Christening Mug complete with its presentation case from the maker's "The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd".It is hallmarked on the base with the maker's mark "G&SCo" for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, the Britannia Standard Silver mark, the Lion's Head London town mark , the date letter "U" for 1935 and also the Jubilee Mark. Also stamped "Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Coy., 112 Regent St.W".
It is decorated with cockerals and chicks (see photo). There is also a scroll explaining the Britannia and Jubilee silver hallmarks.
An opportunity to purchase a very nice christening mug by a highly regarded maker.
