Description

A nice, Victorian, English Silver Fusee Pocket Watch made by E Fryde, Sunderland and dates from c1862.
The English silver case is in good condition. It has engine turned engraving to the rear (worn near the edge) and a central cartouche with engraved initials. It is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "IH", the London town mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark and the date letter "g" for 1862/63.
The English Lever Fusee movement is in good condition and working order. It is key wound and set with the key provided and is complete with dust cover. It has a nicely engraved balance cock and is signed by the maker, "E Fryde, Sunderland"
The dial is in good condition.
