A Good, Antique, Victorian English Silver Presentation Bowl made by Stokes & Ireland Ltd, at their Great Hampton Street Works in Birmingham.
It is hallmarked with the the maker’s mark “SILd” for Stokes & Ireland Ltd (William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland), the Chester town mark, the Lion Passant Silver mark and date letter "Q" for 1899/1900.

It bears a Royal Army Medical Corps presentation inscription

"Presented to the R.A.M.C. Mess, Peshawur by Lieut Col. G W Robinson, R.A.M.C., 1901"
