A very rare, Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made in Arbroath by Andrew Davidson and dating from c1835.
Andrew Davidson is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Arbroath c1835 to 1850.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "AD" for Andrew Davidson, alongside his Arbroath marks. There are engraved initials on the handle (see photos)
