A very rare George III, Scottish Provincial Silver Spirit Label "BRANDY" made in Perth by William Ritchie and dating from c1800.William Ritchie is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Perth c1796 to 1814.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark only "WR" for William Ritchie, stamped twice to the reverse side.
