George III, English Silver Basting Spoon, London

Description
A very good quality, English Silver Basting Spoon, bearing full English Hallmarks for London 1792.It is hallmarked with the maker’s mark “GG", the Crowned Leopard's Head London town mark and the Lion Passant Silver Mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and the the date letter "r" for 1792/93. There is an armorial "eagle" crest on the handle (see photo).
It is in excellent condition.
It measures approximately 11 1/2" inches (295mm) in length.
Overall a lovely Antique George III Basting Spoon, a nice addition to any collection.
