A nice Set of Six, Antique, Victorian, English Silver Forks made in London by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater and dating from 1845.
The Fiddle, Shell and Thread pattern forks are hallmarked with the maker's mark "SH/DC" for Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, the Lion Passant silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark, date letter "k" for 1845/46 and the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria).
They have initials engraved on the handle.
