A very nice, George VI, English Silver Bowl made by Bishton's Ltd, Birmingham, and dating from c1945.It is hallmarked with the Lion Passant Silver mark, the maker's mark "BLd" for Bishton's Ltd, the "anchor" Birmingham town mark and date letter "V" for 1945/46.
