Victorian English Silver Table Snuff Box

Description
An exquisite Antique, Victorian, Large, English Silver Presentation Table Snuff Box.The box is hallmarked on the inside, the lid having the Monarch's Head duty mark (Queen Victoria), the maker's mark "H&T" for Hilliard & Thomason and the Lion Passant Silver Mark. The base having the maker's mark "H&T" again alongside the Birmingham town mark and date letter "D" for 1852/53.
There is a very nice Presentation Inscription of Scottish Interest. The box being a gift in Glasgow in April 1866 (see photo).
