Scottish Provincial Silver Ladle McQueen, Banff

Description
A rare, Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made By John McQueen of Banff.It is hallmarked with the maker's mark McQ for John McQueen, the Scottish thistle and the letters BA for Banff.
John McQueen is recorded in Jackson's Silver as working in Banff c1816 to 1839.
The ladle has the engraved initial A.
It measures 7" inches (175mm) in length. The weight is 31.5g.
An excellent example of a rare provincial silver ladle.
