Description

A very good, rare, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made in Aberdeen by Peter Ross dating from c1820.
Peter Ross is recorded as working in Aberdeen from c1819 - 1822.
A lovely ladle that could also be used as a cream or sauce ladle.
The ladle is marked with the Maker's Mark "PR" (struck thrice) for Peter Ross, Aberdeen.
It has the initial "F" engraved on the handle.
It is in excellent condition.
It measures approximately 6 1/4" inches (165mm) in length. The weight is 32.0g.
