Description

A very good, rare, George III, Scottish Provincial Silver Toddy Ladle made in Dundee by Edward Livingstone dating from c1795.
Edward Livingstone is recorded as working in Dundee from c1790 - 1800.
A lovely ladle that could also be used as a cream or sauce ladle.
The ladle is marked with the Maker's Mark "EL" (struck twice) for Edward Livingstone, alongside the "Pot O' Lilies" Dundee town mark and the letter "D".
It has the initial "B" engraved on the handle.
It is in excellent condition.
It measures approximately 6 1/4" inches (160mm) in length. The weight is 22.0g.
