Description

A good George III, Scottish Sterling Silver toddy or cream Ladle, Alexander Edmonstoun, Edinburgh c1806.
The ladle hallmarked with the Monarch's Head duty mark, the maker's mark "AE" for Alexander Edmonstoun, the Scottish "thistle" silver mark and date letter "a" for 1806/07.
There is an engraved initials to the terminal - see photo.
A very nice ladle in good condition, albeit with a slight bend at the narrow point of the stem.
It measures 1550mm in length. The weight is 21.5g.
