Description

A good example of an Antique, George III, English Silver Pair Cased Pocket Watch with a Verge Fusee movement by JS Woolmer, Reepham. Reepham is a market town in Norfolk, England.
The watch has the movement signed by the maker "JS Woolmer, Reepham" and has the serial number 56113. It is in working order.
The case hallmarked with the maker's mark "JH", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's London town mark and date letter "k" for 1825/26.
The outer case has a number of old watchmaker's papers inside.
The dial is in good condition but does have a few faint hairlines as can be seen.
The watch measures 57mm in diameter (across the case).
