Description

A very good, 18th century, George III, English Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop made in London and dating from c1768.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WC", the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark and date letter "n" for 1768/69.
There is a nicely engraved Stag's Head crest.
This marrow scoop is in excellent condition.
It measures approximately 8 1/2" inches (220mm) in length.
The weight is 46.4g.
A lovely example of English Georgian silver for the antique silver collector.
