A RARE ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENGLISH STERLING SILVER SNUFF BOX, GEORGE III, c1815.
A nice, Antique, George III, English Silver Snuff Box. The box was made in London and dates from c1815.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "WE", the Leopard's Head Crowned London town mark, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Monarch's Head duty mark and the date letter "U" for 1815/16.
The curved box has nice reeded decoration and a family crest to the lid.
The box in good condition overall, but has some minor indents and wear as can be expected given the age.
The box measures approximately 72mm x 30mm x 12mm. The weight is 36.9g
