A GOOD QUALITY, RARE ANTIQUE SCOTTISH PROVINCIAL SILVER GRAVY SPOON, DUNDEE.
A very nice and rare Scottish Provincial Silver Gravy Spoon by David Manson, Dundee c1810.
David Manson is recorded as working in Dundee c1810.
The spoon is hallmarked with the maker's mark (rubbed) "D?" most probably "DM" for David Manson and the "Pot o' Lilies" (struck three times) the Dundee town mark.
It measures approximately 12" inches (300mm) in length. The weight is 109.7g.
It is in excellent condition, a lovely addition to any collection, or for use on a special occasion.
